The Econoflo cabinet water softener with the 5600 Meter controls are user-friendly and easy to program. It is an "On Demand" control that regenerates based on the amount of water used, as opposed to regenerating at a preset number of days. You set the number of gallons desired. The Fleck 5600 Meter softeners are much more efficient than the timer systems. They use less salt and waste less water over time, as they will only regenerate after using a set amount of water. This system is a ¾” system.
